Find magnet links, fast
Magnet Pocket searches the sources you choose, the Internet Archive and LinuxTracker out of the box, your own Jackett or Prowlarr server, RSS feeds and any site with a search box on top, and hands the result to your torrent app with one tap. Nothing is downloaded to your device and nothing about you is collected.
Free, with an optional tip jar. No subscription, no account, no tracking. Requires iOS 18 or iPadOS 18.
Search once, see everything
Type, and every source you turned on answers at once. Results arrive as each source replies, copies of the same torrent fold into one row, and the magnet glyph at the end of the row is all it takes to open one.
Built for one job
- Every source at once
- Searches run in parallel and results show up as each source answers. A chip per source tells you who replied, who is still working and who failed, with the error one tap away.
- One tap to your torrent app
- The magnet glyph on every row hands the link to whichever app opens magnet links on your device, such as Transmission Pocket. Copy or share it instead if you prefer.
- Your sources
- Jackett, Prowlarr and other Torznab servers, RSS search feeds, JSON APIs, or any website with a search box. Paste an address and Magnet Pocket works out the kind, lifts the API key out and fills in the rest.
- Good sources built in
- The Internet Archive and LinuxTracker come switched on. Presets add the official torrent pages of Ubuntu, Debian, Fedora, Arch Linux, Kali and Qubes, the FOSS Torrents feed and an offline Sample Library.
- Know before you open
- Seeders, leechers, size and date on every row. Sort by best match, seeders, size, date or name, hide dead torrents, and read the info hash, trackers and file list in Details.
- Magnet links only
- When a source offers nothing but a .torrent file, Magnet Pocket reads the magnet link out of it, trackers and web seeds included, and never keeps the file.
- Private by design
- No account, no analytics, no ads. Searches go only to the sources you turned on, API keys live in the Keychain, and the App Store label is Data Not Collected.
- iPhone and iPad
- One app for both, light and dark, built with the system's own controls so it feels like it came with the phone.
Works with the sources you already use
A source is anything that answers a search with magnet links: an indexer server, a feed, an API or a plain web page. Magnet Pocket reads Torznab, RSS, JSON and HTML, so if you can search it in Safari, you can most likely search it here.
- Jackett
- Prowlarr
- NZBHydra2 and other Torznab servers
- RSS search feeds
- JSON APIs
- Any site with a search box
- Internet Archive
- LinuxTracker
- Ubuntu, Debian, Fedora, Arch Linux, Kali, Qubes
- FOSS Torrents

Search
Open the app and type. The Internet Archive and LinuxTracker are already on, so the first results arrive before you have finished reading the sentence.
-
Add your own source
Open Sources, tap +, and paste a Jackett or Prowlarr feed address, an RSS feed, or the address of a search you just did in Safari. Magnet Pocket recognises the kind, puts the API key where it belongs and swaps your search words for
{query}. Tap Test, then Save. -
Open it in your torrent app
Tap the magnet glyph on a result. The link goes to the app that handles magnet links, Transmission Pocket for example, with its add screen ready. If no such app is installed, Magnet Pocket tells you and points you to one.
Search here, download there
Magnet Pocket finds the link. Transmission Pocket, our remote for the Transmission server you run at home or on a seedbox, takes it from there: tap the glyph, pick the folder and labels, and watch it download on the server.

About Transmission PocketFrequently asked questions
Does Magnet Pocket download torrents to my iPhone?
No. Magnet Pocket is a search client. It sends your search to the sources you turned on, lists what comes back, and hands the magnet link you pick to the app that opens magnet links, such as Transmission Pocket. It has no BitTorrent engine and downloads no content. The only file it ever fetches is a .torrent metadata file, which it reads for its magnet link and never keeps.
Which sources does it search?
Out of the box, the Internet Archive and LinuxTracker. Add Source offers presets for the official torrent pages of Ubuntu, Debian, Fedora, Arch Linux, Kali and Qubes, the FOSS Torrents feed and an offline Sample Library of Blender open movies. You can also add your own: a Jackett, Prowlarr or other Torznab server, an RSS search feed, a JSON API, or any website with a search box.
How do I add my Jackett or Prowlarr server?
Copy the Torznab feed address of an indexer together with your API key, open Sources, tap +, and tap Paste. Magnet Pocket works out the kind of source, lifts the API key out of the address and fills in the rest. Tap Test, then Save. The key is stored in the iOS Keychain. When Jackett or Prowlarr runs on your home network, allow Local Network access when iOS asks. Step by step on the support page.
Which app opens the magnet links?
Any app on your device that registered for magnet links. Transmission Pocket, our Transmission remote, opens the link with the add screen ready. If nothing on the device opens magnet links, Magnet Pocket says so and points you to Transmission Pocket on the App Store. You can also copy or share the link.
Can I use it away from home?
The Internet Archive, LinuxTracker and the other public sources work anywhere. A Jackett or Prowlarr server on your home network is reachable from outside the way you already reach it, for example a VPN, Tailscale or WireGuard, or a reverse proxy; enter that address as the source.
What does Magnet Pocket cost?
Nothing. Magnet Pocket is free, with no subscription and no ads. Settings has a tip jar for anyone who wants to support the work; tips are optional and unlock nothing.
Does Magnet Pocket collect any data?
No. The App Store privacy label is Data Not Collected. There is no account and no analytics. Your searches go only to the sources you turned on, and API keys stay in the Keychain on your device. See the privacy policy.
