Getting Started
- Open Settings and enter your Transmission server address (for example, your server's address and RPC port), plus a username and password if your server requires them.
- Tap "Test Connection" to confirm, then Save.
- Not set up yet? Tap "Try Demo" on the welcome screen to explore the app with sample data — no server required.
Troubleshooting
Can't connect to a server on your home network?
- When prompted, allow Local Network access. You can also enable it later in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Local Network → Transmission Pocket.
- Double-check the address, port, and (if used) username and password.
- Make sure your device is on the same network as the server, or that the server is reachable from outside your network.
Adding torrents
- Tap a magnet link in your browser, paste a magnet link in the app, or open a .torrent file from Files or the web to add it to your server.
